Chlorine Batch Mixing Calculator
This calculator is used to determine the ratio of SH to water when batch mixing based on your desired output strength.
- Use the first slider to set your desired output strength.
- Use the second slider to set the starting strength of your chlorine (typically 12.5%).
- Type in the size of your tank, click enter, and let the calculator do its magic.
Note - This calculator is measured in "Units" as the formula works for either gallons or litres.
Always add the water to your tank first, then add the chlorine until there is a small amount of room in the top of the tank for your soaps and chemicals.
*Adding water first then chlorine will reduce the chance of chlorine splashing onto your skin.
*Adding soaps last will reduce the chances of them bubbling over the tank.
